You have got the raw material ready. The next step is execution. If Steve Jobs wouldn’t have been mad about design, perfection, and user-centric innovation, no one would have been mad when any Apple product was launched. He turned the concept into reality.
That’s what execution is about.

The Breakthrough
- The 3Ps: Defining the path
Pick up that paperback where you had sculpted the idea. Divide it into – people,
purpose, and process.
Purpose – Why do you want to work on that idea?
People – Who are you making for?
Process – How would you execute it? - Developing Action Plans
Once the 3Ps are answered, it is time to develop the process in mini-steps. The mini-steps have milestones to make your goal achievable. The only way to get something to
execute is to force yourself to a timeline. Make your action plan timebound. - Calling For Failures
Innovation often requires adaptability and flexibility. Your initial thought has a low chance to staythe same when it reaches the final product. That’s why we don’t want you to try making it perfect.
Your thought has to refine to become an idea, which further has to refine to become an innovation. Meanwhile, this process will change form. This development is the only way to make it reach reality. When you would have taken it to people who won’t have had the same problem as yours, you would have got resistance. Pick a few people from them and ask them what they would have done to make it useful. You don’t need to listen to everything, just note them down somewhere. It will strike itself when required. - Patience
Execution is not without challenges. You’re challenging your mind to do something it is not ready for. The first thought will be – drop it. Pick up the second thought – do it. It takes time for a raw fruit to become sweet. You’ll have to practice active patience and consistency to help you survive this journey.
